This was one of the most technically difficult watercolours I've ever tackled, and it required three attempts before I was happy with the results. Most of us had problems with this subject, based on a superb photograph by Michaeledward (user name) from New Hampshire, who kindly allowed us to use this from the Wet Canvas Photo Reference Library. Image size was 14" x 21", on 300lb Arches cold pressed paper, using W&N Artists Quality paints.
