I call this part of my kitchen sink period. I saw a series of still life watercolours in a Florida exhibition based on simple kitchen objects and set about creating some myself. I made the mistake of putting the title right on the painting in this first one. My humourous intent may have gone over some viewers' heads, but I know what onions do to me!
