"Andrew Fishing" (22" X 29") was one of the most technically difficult watercolours I ever attempted. To get the water just right I painted a full-size duplicate of the water section and cut it out to place over the existing painting. I'm glad I did as I was able to make some needed changes. I've since tried this technique several times and it's well worth the few extra dollars in Arches 300 lb paper!
